5 Normal Characteristics of your V Zone
Saba® makes you feel #CómodaContigo.

Taking care of your V Zone is as important as taking care of any other part of your body, because in addition to having very special characteristics, it is also more sensitive.

Here are some of it’s natural characteristics:

It Sweats

In areas of the body that have hair, such as the V Zone, there are sweat glands known as apocrines. These glands allow the skin to transpire not only due to heat, but also stress. And when sweat comes in contact with bacteria, it produces a slightly pungent odor.

It Has Its Own Smell

Yes, the V Zone, like the rest of your body, has its own aroma, and the smell is different for each woman. The smell can change at different points in the menstrual cycle. For example, during your period, it becomes metallic due to your menstrual flow, and only you can perceive the change in smell!

It Produces Certain Secretions

Did you know that your V Zone has its own internal cleaning process? That is one of the reasons why it produces a flow that changes in appearance as the menstrual cycle progresses, and, when it comes in contact with the air, it can turn yellowish.

It Can Get Pimples

If you feel a lump on the skin on the outside, it’s mostly likely a pimple. These usually go away after a couple of days.

It Makes You Itchy

The rubbing of the skin, along with the secretions that we mentioned earlier - such as sweat or menstrual flow - can make you itchy. But the itchiness should not be persistent. If you have an intense itch that won’t go away, make sure to consult with your doctor.

Remember that it’s important to correctly clean your V Zone daily, and also be aware if there are any changes down there. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, or have any concerns, consult with your gynecologist.
