Learn more about your V Zone and how to take care of it
Saba® - Freedom to feel comfortable.
When we talk about your V zone, we are referring to your vulva area, an essential part of your body since it requires daily care and is very delicate.
But what's up with my discharge? Don’t worry! It is something completely normal that all women have throughout their lives. No woman has the same type of discharge because age, complexion, and even the stage of the menstrual cycle are factors that vary with discharge.
A healthy discharge can range from transparent to green, yellow, pink, and brown.
Important factors to identify to know that your discharge is NOT healthy are the following:
- Bad smell (fishy)
- Itching
- Lumps
- Irritation
These factors indicate a possible infection and require medical attention from your gynecologist. Evaluate with your gynecologist whether it is necessary to undergo treatment and to tell you which one if so.
On the other hand, it is essential to monitor your discharge. We recommend a log-in where you have control over monitoring your cycle's discharge. A log can help to note the particularities that make your V zone unique. Keeping track of your discharge can help identify any irregularity so you can consult your doctor and take immediate action.
Whether your discharge is plentiful or not, you must know that wearing panty liners regularly is normal. Remember that each person finds their routine and their way of feeling comfortable. We recommend changing them continuously, at least thrice daily, to avoid humidity and foul odors caused by smegma and sweating. The smell or aroma similar to that of onion is natural; just clean your V zone with a Saba® Sensiti-V™ Wet Wipe and carry on with your day. Don't forget to cleanse yourself thoroughly at the end of the day with your preferred Saba® Sensiti-V™ Intimate Wash and plenty of water.
Let's talk about your V Zone routine.
During hot seasons, you must give special focus to this area and clean it at least three times a day. If you have to go out, we suggest carrying Saba® Sensiti-V™ Wet Wipes, which will help with hygiene. They will make you feel fresher, but a deep cleaning with soap and water would be ideal. Since it is a highly delicate area, we suggest cleaning with Saba® Sensiti-V™ Intimate Wash to feel fresher for longer and help reduce the chances of infection in your V zone.
Remember that your underwear should ideally be cotton to allow your V zone to breathe and should be changed once a year.
Finally, a life tip:
If you go to the beach or a pool, remember that the water in the pool and the ocean change the PH of your V zone. There is a greater possibility of contracting a fungus or infection. Once you leave the pool, repeat your cleaning routine in your V zone. Dry well (without scrubbing), and remove moisture using panty liners to help reduce the chances of infection.
